OTT Watchlist: List of New Titles Premiering this week

With cinema halls remaining shut, OTT has emerged as the prime source of entertainment to all sections of the audiences. Quite a few mainstream South Indian films including Jagame Thandhiram, Joju, and others have premiered directly on OTT platforms since the onset of Covid second wave. Here is the list of new titles which will be premiering on OTT this week.

Cold Case – Amazon Prime – 30th June

The Prithviraj Sukumaran starrer has skipped theatrical release and it is set to premiere on Amazon Prime on 30th of June. Tipped to be an investigative thriller, the film stars Aditi Balan in the female lead role. Tanu Balak, a cinematographer-turned-director is helming the film.

Haseen Dillruba – Netflix – 2nd July

Tapsee Pannu who is mostly starring female-orients films of late will next be seen in Haseen Dillruba. She recently made headlines by stating her costars Vikrant Massey and Harshvardhan Rane were scared to film intimate scenes with her. The film is slated for digital premieres on Netflix on 2nd of July. Vinil Mathew is directing the romantic crime thriller.

Pogaru – Aha – 2nd July

Pogaru stars Kannada actor Dhruv Sarja and happening beauty Rashmika Mandanna in the lead roles. The actioner hit the silver screens earlier this year and it is all set for its digital premieres on Aha. The film will be made available for streaming on Aha from 2nd July. It is billed to be a full-on mass masala entertainer.

Loki(Telugu) – 30th June

The first season of Marvel’s new Avengers spin-off series, Loki is receiving rave reviews. The Telugu dubbed version of Loki is set to premiere on Disney+ Hotstar on 30th of this month. A total of three episodes(English) have been made available for streaming till now and the fourth episode will premiere on 30th June. It is said that the Telugu-dubbed versions of all four episodes will be streaming from the above-mentioned date.
