Overdose of SOS Vs Clever Timing of Akhil’s bday clip

Allu Arjun’s birthday happens to be just one day before the release of his much hyped SOS. And on the same day falls the birthday of Akkineni scion Akhil. While Bunny’s fans were eagerly waiting for his biggest release, all the attention of the media was focussed on SOS and to be frank, audiences and fans got an overdose of teasers and trailers of SOS from the makers.

At the time when there was least expectation of a making video or a teaser from Akhil’s debut movie, the makers of the movie surprised the audiences with a making birthday teaser of Akhil Akkineni leaving the fans pleasantly thrilled for the treat. While fans are impatiently waiting for big stars movies teasers like Mahesh Babu’s ‘Srimanthudu’, Akhil’s movie teaser wasn’t expected as the movie began recently.

This thrill factor combined with the stylish action avatar of Akhil revealed in the making clip make it go bang and an overdose of SOS teasers also added to Akhil’s clip going bang. This only shows that too much of hype sometimes kills the anticipation and thrill and a pleasant surprise might work wonders. What say?
