Teaser Talk: Instantly Impressive And Pakka Entertaining

The teaser of director Maruthi’s next biggie Pakka Commercial is out. It sees him join hands with Macho Star Gopichand for the first time. The visual glimpse sets an out and out entertainer vibe from the first frame.

Although Maruthi had a quickie Manchi Rojulochaie recently, Pakka Commercial is his ‘real’ big one after the super theatrical success of Prati Roju Pandage. The larger than life, massy, and glitzy look is back in Pakka Commercial.

The teaser is typical Maruthi. It is well cut with punch dialogues and catchy music bit. One gets a feeling of overdose on the former, though. It is as if there is too much effort to make it work or stand out. A trailer would give better clarity in that aspect.

Gopichand looks like in his elements playing a refreshing character for a change. It has his usual mass elements, but they are presented classily. The intro dialogue suits him to the T. The rest is par for course, and only a brief glimpse of what to expect from the movie.

Pakka Commercial is very critical for Gopichand more than anyone. The actor hasn’t had a genuine theatrical hit in a long time. He will be hoping that brand Maruthi does the trick.
