Not a copy or inspiration claims Sukumar's Aide

Director Surya Pratap is back after a brief hiatus as a director. His upcoming movie ‘Kumari 21 F’ is garnering good buzz and has created a typical kind of craze for itself for the way it is associated with creative names like film maker Sukumar, music director Devi Sri Prasad, cinematographer Ratnavelu, actor Raj Tharun etc.

Surya Pratap says that Sukumar is like his guru for who he has been assistant director for Mahesh’s ‘1-Nenokkadine’. The story, screenplay and dialogues for the movie are provided by Sukumar himself who is also into production for the first time with this movie.

Surya Pratap denies the rumors that his upcoming movie is an inspiration from a Hollywood movie and explains how the story evolved during discussions with Sukumar when he was making ‘1-Nenokkadine’. And the creative director chose Surya Pratap to direct the story written inspired from their personal experiences.
