Pawan Kalyan Setting Trend For TFI

While an on-going issue is happening regarding the release dates, here is big news. The US distributors of upcoming Pawan Kalyan film LA Telugu are going to set a precedent that is going to change the Telugu movies business forever in the US.

Agnyaathavaasi is going to release in a humongous number of theaters in the US. It has to be that way given the price it has been bought for in the US. But the way the distributor is setting things up, it could be followed by every ‘regular biggie’ going forward.

Till now, films like Baahubali or Kabali, mainly the big event movies with big budget epic spectacle were associated with most extensive releases. There were other Pawan Kalyan or Mahesh Babu films (barring Spyder which was Baahubali like before release) which have had big releases, but they were not Baahubali-esque. However, the landscape is going to change entirely with Agnayaathavaasi.

All that the film needs now is a good talk, and TFI would see what the potential of a regular commercial movie is in the US. So far, the film featuring the stars have failed. Agnyaathavaasi could change the tide and in a positive way. Let us wait and see, what the third movie in Pawan Kalyan and Trivikram Srinivas’s combination achieves.
