Pawan Kalyan Director’s Strange Policy

Venu Sriram made his directorial debut with Oh My Friend, way back in 2011. He then went on to direct MCA and then with his recent release Vakeel Saab, he came to the limelight.

Although Vakeel Saab ended up as a loss venture, Pawan fans liked Venu Sriram for tweaking the story to suit Pawan Kalyan’s star image. Post Vakeel Saab, Venu Sriram claims to have got offers from big production houses and apparently have been offered advance amounts too.

However, Venu Sriram hasn’t taken any advance from anyone. In an interview, he goes on to say that he is strictly against taking advances from producers. Interestingly, we have heard of instances where directors or actors take advances from producers, but it takes years for the film to go on sets or it never sees the light, but the advance remains with them.

In such a scenario, Venu Sriram despite getting offers hasn’t taken advance from anyone, which comes as strange policy. On the work front, till date he has directed three films and all of them have been bankrolled by Dil Raju. Buzz has it that Venu Sriram’s next venture will also be with Dil Raju starring Allu Arjun for ICON.
