Telangana cop M. Ramesh has found objection with the lyrics. Taking to Twitter he tagged lyricist Ramajogayya Sastry and said that he was surprised that the lyricist could find better words to describe policeman valor.
The IPS officer added that the Telangana police force is people friendly and never lathi charge in contrast to what is written in lyrics. No sooner after the tweet of the IPS officer, Pawan Kalyan fans attacked the officer tweeting how in the past their department have troubled common man in name of challans among other things.
One of the users also pointed that the song is about criminals and goons and not targetting gullible people. Meanwhile, it is to be seen if the team reacts to the controversy.
Directed by Saagar K Chandra, the film screenplay and dialogues are penned by Trivikram Srinivas. The film is all set to hit the screens on January 12, 2022.
