PK Fans Reduce Vijayawada Theater Owner to Tears

The film industry has had a great deal of fun with re-releases. ‘Kushi’, ‘Narasimha Naidu’ and a few other recent re-releases in theatres have sweetened the mood in the film industry.

In the latest instance, ‘Tholi Prema’ was re-released in theatres on June 30. As expected, some over-enthusiastic fans displayed extreme dedication to Pawan Kalyan. In Kapardi Theatre in Vijayawada, the fans’ insatiable hunger remained unfulfilled until they threatened to dismantle the screen and engaged in mischievous behavior for their own amusement.

In the name of displaying cult-level passion for their favourite actors, sections of fans are putting the future of re-releases at risk. Recently, after Prabhas’ fans turned aggressive on the premises of Prasads Multiplex on the release date of ‘Adipurush’, we know what happened. The theatre management started shooing away videographed public reviews altogether. There is an ongoing ban on reviews on the premises.

In the future, something similar might happen if the fans of heroes don’t discipline themselves. The fans out there must curb their intense emotional responses despite the pressure to outdo the fans of other heroes.
