In Vakeel Saab, senior actor Sammeta Gandhi played an important role. Most of his scenes were alongside Pawan Kalyan, and in a recent interview, he shared several interesting things about what Pawan is like, off the screen. Sammeta Gandhi said that Pawan is a very simple man, as is already known by everyone. He said that Pawan doesn’t think twice before helping others, and often helps others without any sort of publicity.
Gandhi gave two examples where Pawan helped two people. He said that Pawan helped an artist called Pavala Shyamala, who was suffering heart problems. She is said to have approached Pawan for help when the doctors told her that she needs 2 Lakhs for the operation. Pawan is said to have called the doctors himself and made sure that the artist got operated on. Gandhi narrated another example when Pawan helped a junior artist for the wedding of her daughter, during the shoot of Attarintiki Daaredi. He said that Pawan had asked the junior artist to wish him before he left the set, as a reminder. And as soon as she greeted him, Pawan is said to have asked his PA to give her 1 Lakh.
Sammeta Gandhi’s words once again prove the simplistic and humble nature of Pawan Kalyan’s, which is the main reason for his immense following in the Telugu states.
