Bad Reviews Helped Peddi?

Ever since Peddi released, the film has completely taken over social media. From fan celebrations and memes to mixed reviews, criticism, trolling, and endless debates, the conversation around the film has barely slowed down. A major part of that discussion has revolved around Janhvi Kapoor’s character and the criticism surrounding her portrayal in the film.

Amid all this noise, the Peddi team held a formal thank you meet.

Interestingly, as already discussed widely online, Ram Charan avoided mentioning Janhvi Kapoor during his speech. Other members of the team and producers mostly spoke about the film’s success.

But one speech stood out.

Jagapathi Babu, who played an important role Appalasoori in the film, directly addressed the trolling, anti-fans calling opposition, and especially the negative reviews surrounding Peddi. In a surprising turn, he even thanked the negative reviews and said they actually helped the film.

For years, star-driven films had a certain shield against criticism. But things appear different now. Audience behavior has changed. Viewers have become more critical, more analytical, and much quicker to react across social media platforms.

Whether reviews are positive or negative, films today face immediate public scrutiny, and there is very little room to control the narrative once audience talk begins.

That is why only genuine reviews work these days. Audiences are smart, and they can quickly figure out what is a paid review.

Now the bigger test begins.

With Monday marking the start of Peddi’s crucial second-week run, all eyes are on whether the film can convert the online noise into sustained box office momentum and move closer to its break-even target.

Bad Reviews రాసిన వాళ్లకి మరింత థ్యాంక్స్. తెలియకుండానే మీరు చాలా హెల్ప్ చేశారు.
