Telugu Director Out-rightly Rejected Bollywood Superstar!

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan was s said to be interested in the remake of Tollywood super hit film ‘Pelli Choopulu’ and there had been talks with the makers of the original; the director Tharun Basckar and the producer Raj Kandukuri.

Salman Khan had a condition thar Tharun Basckar must direct the Hindi version as well. The director rejected the offer and Salman Khan dropped the idea of remaking the film in Hindi. Another big producer Vashu Bhagnani bagged the remake rights of ‘Pelli Choopulu’.

Raj Kandukuri signed the deal with Vashu Bhagnani and it is said that the remake rights were sold for a handsome amount, i.e., for Rs. 50 lakhs. Vashu Bhagnani is going to remake the blockbuster with his son Jackky Bhagnani playing the lead role in the film.
