The first thing that strikes instantly is the visuals. They are superb and add to an overall mystery feel. The plot is about the worst nightmare of a mother, and the glimpse that we get assures a thrilling visceral for sure. The cinematography by Karthik Palani is excellent.
Nothing much is known further about the story, and we have to wait for the full-fledged trailer to get a complete idea. The focus is entirely on Keerthy Suresh, and she seems to be doing a great job from the glimpses. What we have so far gives a promising vibe.
A newcomer Eashvar Karthic directs the movie. The full trailer will be out on June 11th. Santhosh Narayanan provides the music. Penguin is a Karthik Subbaraj production in association with Kaarthekeyen Santhanam, Sudhan Sundaram and Jayaram.
Penguin will stream worldwide on Amazon Prime Video from June 19th. The movie will be available simultaneously in Telugu and Malayalam along with Tamil. It will be the third film release on the Amazon Prime Video after Ponmagal Vandhal, and Gulabo Sitabo.
