Ponniyin Selvan Gets OTT Release Date?

Recent Tamil biggie Ponniyin Selvan, which was give a pan-India release fared particularly well in Tamil Nadu, and overseas markets. The film is now headed for its OTT premieres.

While it is confirmed that Ponniyin Selvan will stream on OTT this November, here’s a new update on the potential OTT release date of the film.

It is being reported that the Mani Ratnam directorial will be streaming on Amazon Prime Video from the 18th of November.

The same is yet to be confirmed by Amazon Prime Video or the makers of the action epic though.

If that really is the case, it would mean that Ponniyin Selvan is making its OTT debut well over 6 weeks past its theatrical release, which is a rarity these days and particularly so with Amazon Prime involved.

The film features Karthi, Vikram, Trisha, Nayanthara and others in the lead roles. The second part is set for theatrical release during 2023 summer.
