Posani’s Scathing Attack –Return’s Nandi

It was only a matter of time before Posani Krishna Murali entered the Nandi Awards saga, and it looks like the comments made by Nara Lokesh provided the ammunition. The famous writer and now very successful character, and also a Nandi Award recipient, has come out in open to attack Lokesh and the jury.

The comments, especially the ones made by Lokesh yesterday were the trigger point. Posani, a hardcore fan of YS Jagan blasted Lokesh in his usual style saying that these are not family or caste awards. It is not your father’s Awards, said the writer openly, and asked to rename it if that is the case. Do all the people in your family have Aadhar and Voter cards in Andhra Pradesh? How are the Awards related to a region? These are examples of few fundamental and normally asked questions by him.

Posani further said that he is returning the award he got for Temper and would like to see all other awards canceled as well. A new jury needs to be reinstated to give Awards again, according to the writer. Will the Government respond to it back and further drag the whole issue? Is it about time, we get an end to the never-ending muddiness?
