Censor talk: Power goes Vikramarkudu way

Ravi Teja’s upcoming commercial mass entertainer is going the Vikramarkudu way. First we had the hero with two shades angle and then the obvious two heroines and now we have a similar Censor rating for the film as well. Power has been finally censored today and it has been given ‘A’ rating by the board. This is similar to Vikramarkudu which also had ‘A’ rating due to its violent content. Does this mean Power is also going to be that violent?

Power is directed by Bobby (KS Ravindra), formerly an assistant to Kona Venkat. He has in the past mentioned that Power would be on the lines of the SS Rajamouli directed movie but with the comic touch of Kona Venkat to it. This is exactly what the reports emerging from the Censor suggest. Similarities with Vikramarkudu aside Power is typical Ravi Teja entertainer with Kona Venkat brand of comedy. Usually Kona Venkat movies don’t get an A rating so it is surprising a little bit but whatever it is, the film is now all set to hit the screens on September 12. Power is produced by Rockline Venkatesh and stars Hansika and Regina Cassandra in female leads.
