Prabhas Charity: Unreasonable Hate!

Rebel Star Prabhas has also donated to the Flood Relief works in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. He had announced One Crore Rupees each to the Chief Minister’s Relief Funds of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, total amounting to Two Crores.

Some Reach-mongering X accounts this morning published reports that Prabhas donated 5 Crore to the same. The news spread like wildfire but by that time, Prabhas did not make an official announcement.

Later when Prabhas announced 2 Crore Rupees, fans of other heroes (a small section) started making allegations that Prabhas is doing PR stunts.

They also accuse him of waiting till the last minute and making a bigger donation than other heroes so that he would get the maximum publicity.

While it is totally unreasonable to compare donations, Prabhas always ensures that he gives the highest amounts.

Sometimes, he even donates to very small causes which does not get him much publicity. For instance, he recently donated 35 Lakhs to the Directors Association. This is a small cause and many would not even know.

But he liked the cause and donated even though no one asked. For causes like this others would rarely consider donating.

Even when it comes to films, he is always someone who does not crave publicity.

Making the allegations of PR Stunts in the name of donations is completely unfair to Prabhas.

The naysayers should understand that at the end of the day, no hero, or anyone for that matter does secret donations.

Be it for anything, they should always remember that donations will still help many helpless people.

When actors do donate and make announcements, that would inspire more people.

It is to be noted that Prabhas’s 2 Crore is by far the highest by any hero for the present issue and he does that consistently for every cause (again not fair to say ‘Highest’ comparing donations but it should be said on this occasion).

Remember the money is his hard-earned and he is giving it away to society even though there is no obligation. And he deserves all the publicity or good name that comes from it.

We should also call out a section of Prabhas fans who belittle the donations of other heroes saying that they donated less than Prabhas. That is also totally wrong.
