Prabhas Fans Greet With Abuses

Filmmaker Om Raut had gone missing from social media after the severe backlash he got for making Adipurush completely different from the traditional vision of the Ramayana held by the Hindus. He recently tweeted a post; however, it was unrelated to the film.

He revealed that he visited two temples in Goa, the Shri Shantadurga Temple and the Shri Mangeshi Temple, which reminded him of his childhood days. Om expressed his eagerness to seek the blessings of God from these holy places, emphasizing their significance in keeping him connected to his roots.

People on social media, especially Prabhas fans, who were waiting for Om Raut to come on social media so that they could bash him for giving their hero such a poor film, went full throttle. Many bashed him for wasting Prabhas’ potential in the Ramayana. Some even asked him how he was still alive. Some commented that no amount of worshipping the gods will wash away his sin of making Adipurush.

Despite the initial strong opening, “Adipurush” faced negative reviews and tanked badly at the box office. Om Raut defended his interpretation of the epic Ramayana in the film, stating that no one can fully grasp its entirety.
