Prabhas’ Kalki 2 BTS: Bhairava Is Back

Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan starrer Kalki 2898 AD emerged as a box-office success, raising expectations for its sequel, Kalki 2. Directed by Nag Ashwin and produced by Vyjayanthi Movies, the sequel has begun shooting.

Since the release of Kalki 2898 AD, audiences have been waiting to see Bhairava return and take the sci-fi fantasy story forward. The film explores the arrival of God Kalki in a dystopian world. Prabhas made Bhairava a popular character with his charm, witty one-liners, looks and action sequences.

Audiences are also curious about the connection between Bhairava, Bujji and Karna, which is expected to be explored further in the sequel. The makers have now shared a special behind-the-scenes video on the occasion of Prabhas’ birthday, offering a glimpse of his return as Bhairava.

Prabhas reprises his role as Bhairava in the video, which also offers a glimpse of a large set built for the film’s action sequences. Since shooting has only just begun, the makers have revealed little about the story. However, the video offers an early look at Kalki 2 and the return of its familiar characters.
