Meanwhile, earlier there were speculations that the movie may release for Sankranthi 2021. If that happened, it will be a perfect film to bring the audience to the theaters and it should help the industry get to normal. But it is reliably learned that Prabhas is not in a mood of taking any risk with the big-budget film and is planning to release the movie only in April 2021 as Summer Special.

The stakeholders are not in a mood to take the risk in the Pandemic and the economic crisis that will follow for some time even after the Vaccine arrival. This is a safe game of releasing the film after everything is normal. The movie shooting will finish well in advance and Prabhas will move on to his other projects. The First Look Teaser is likely to release for Sankranthi.

Radhe Shyam Principal shooting began in October 2018. By the time of the movie release, it would be two and a half years of production since the start. Prabhas and Pooja Hegde are currently in Italy shooting for the film in a Biobubble. It is the first Telugu film to shoot in a foreign country after the Lockdown.
