Salaar has achieved a commendable collection of approximately 310 crore net across India in various languages, positioning it as the highest-grossing film in Nizam/Andhra apart from S.S. Rajamouli movies. Despite touching the 200 crore mark in Nizam/Andhra, the film will fall slightly short of initial expectations.
The Hindi version’s strong performance suggests Salaar might eventually reach the 400 crore net milestone in India. However, the film was expected to collect much higher as the final business may only be 50% of KGF 2.
In the international market, Salaar earned an impressive $13.5 million in its first 10 days, contributing to a worldwide gross of around 475 crores, with 365 crores from India and 110 crores from overseas.
Notably, Salaar dominates the US box office against SRK’s Dunki, amassing a substantial $8 million and potentially reaching $9 million, placing it among the top-grossing South Indian films in North America.
Prabhas, with Salaar and Baahubali 2, is the only hero to boast two out of the three South Indian films to cross the $8 million mark, a remarkable achievement. Rajamouli’s RRR is the third Indian film to achieve this feat.
