Prabhas’s Adipurush was initially supposed to release on the 11th of August. But the makers of Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha came in and altered the release plan of Adipurush. The Aamir Khan starrer sealed 11 August as its release date.

But as it turned out, Laal Singh Chaddha wasted the Independence Week big time as it got off to disastrous openings.

Laal Singh Chaddha garnered utterly poor reviews and the box office numbers are abysmal as well. The film has clearly wasted the 11 August slot.

Adipurush team sacrificed the 11 August slot for Laal Singh Chaddha and this sacrifice went in vain as the latter has turned out to be a disaster.
