Harshith and Vishaka Dhiman play the lead pair in Romeo Juliet, directed by Bhargav Macharla and produced by Sundeep N and Venkateswara Rao Challagulla under the Navarasa Entertainments banner. The team has chosen to reveal the film’s central idea nearly a month ahead of its theatrical release on October 23. Prabhas unveiled the Story Reveal video.
The video begins with Harshith’s character visiting a local gun dealer and asking for a weapon with the intention of killing a girl. What initially appears to be the beginning of a serious revenge story soon takes a different turn. The youngster instead starts talking about modern romance, explaining terms that have become increasingly familiar among today’s youth.
Romeo Juliet appears to reflect how the current generation experiences and understands relationships. Love, attraction, commitment, casual dating, situationships, disagreements, and breakups are explored through the perspective of youngsters who communicate and form relationships differently in the age of social media. The premise and contemporary subject are aimed at younger audiences.
Bhargav Macharla and Prashant Ragathi have penned the story and screenplay. Gopi Sundar is the music composer, while Abhiraj Nair is the cinematographer.
