Censor trouble for biggie due to Title!

The highly awaited Sooraj Barjatya movie ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ has already been making headlines with the release of its trailer and song and has recently become the focus of some negative publicity as well. Apparently, the movie is going through some issues regarding the Censor board.

The old-fashioned romance drama film’s Telugu version is going through a rough patch. Titled ‘Prem Leela’, the movie is having some trouble with the Censor board considering that the designated title is not acceptable according to the given standards for dubbed films.

The titles of the two movies have completely different meanings while the rules of the Censor Board state that the meaning of the title of the dubbed movie must mean the same as the original movie’s title. Or in order to use names having different meanings, the producers are required to gain permission to do so from the board.
