Problems Continue For RRR

The magnum opus RRR completed its shoot sometime back. The team is now busy with the post-production process including the dubbing. The film was slated for October 13 release, but the team had pulled out owing to the pandemic.

While the team is yet to finalise the release date, speculations are rife that makers are planning for Sankranthi 2022. If RRR happens to arrive on Sankranthi, then it is going to be a double-edge sword for the team. While the festive season is ideal, back home it has to compete with big-ticket films and then from the Kollywood industry too.

Thala Ajith’s Valimai is one of the most awaited movies for Kollywood cine buffs. The craze Ajith carries is enormous. Bankrolled by Boney Kapoor, the team has confirmed its arrival for Pongam 2022. If RRR arrives in Sankranthi, then it may be doom for the makers as it may not get enough screens for RRR Tamil version as Valimai will be eating the bigger space.

It is worth mentioning that the Dosti Tamil song also got a lukewarm response. Moreover, Boney Kapoor and Rajamouli in the past had verbose words over the clash with Maidaan. And the producer has yet again announced his film’s arrival first, so Boney Kapoor won’t budge.

With the aforementioned things, Rajamouli is in a fix and the problems continue for RRR.
