Producer Considered Her unFit to Give Role to Star Kid

Sameera Reddy, essentially a Telugu lady who was brought up in Mumbai and pre-dominantly acted in Bollywood movies including a few Telugu films, as well. She shared her experiences of casting couch in Bollywood.

Once she was tagged unfit by a producer even after the agreement was made because the role went to a star kid. There is also party culture in Bollywood and actors who attend such parties get more opportunities according to the popular gossips and beliefs.

But, Sameera says that she stayed away from those parties and happy with whatever roles she got. She shared one incident when she was asked to do a kissing scene though it wasn’t there in the script.

However, she rejected that outrightly though she was threatened that she might lose her role to someone else. Nepotism and casting couch are there everywhere but, it’s the film industry that will be in the limelight with regard to this issue, by default. What say?
