This producer has delivered a Pan-India film which went on to become a big hit.
And this distributor is a big name in recent times and has distributed the film in the Overseas.
The film was an own release by the producer through this distributor on commission basis. It worked very well there like elsewhere in the World.
The big numbers mean everyone should be happy in the trade but there is trouble brewing between the producer and distributor, as per the sources.
There is a financial dispute going on between them as there are discrepancies in the agreed amounts over commissions and final settlements.
The producer is of the opinion that the distributor is not being transparent.
Sources say that the producer even threatened to go to the media over this issue if it is not settled.
We will have to see how this issue pans out!
