Promising Actor Not Realizing This Big Problem?

Naveen Polishetty has carved a niche with films like Agent Sai Srinivas Athreya and Jathi Ratnalu. He also delivered a hit in Hindi with the film Chhichore where he played one of the leads along with the late Sushant Singh Rajput.

Polishetty’s films attract a section of the sensible movie-going audience who want to watch something out of the box. But there is one BIG complaint that needs to be addressed if he has to make it to the third tier heroes in Tollywood and grow from there.

Many are lamenting that there is a huge gap between his one film and the next. There was almost a two-year gap between Athreya and Jathi Ratnalu. These days an actor has to be aggressive and plan his lineup in such a way that he doesn’t lose the audience’s interest in him.

There is a talk on social media that Polishetty shouldn’t take himself so seriously and plan his films in such a way that there are at least one or two releases every year.

Naveen Polishetty’s upcoming films are an untitled rom-com with Anushka Shetty and a comedy entertainer Anaganaga Oka Raju.
