Pujita Clarifies About Her Marriage With DSP

Rumors come, rumors go. Some die a natural death, some take time, and some get ratified. So, like reporting stories, some sections of media also take spinning rumors rather seriously. On and off, a person is told to be dead, married, or supposed to have an extramarital affair or having an affair with a co-star, and the list goes on.

The latest rumor to hit Tollywood is the secret wedding of actress Poojitha Ponnada and star music director Devisri Prasad. There was a time long, long ago, when it was rumored that he and Charmme were getting married. But both denied it, and Charmme moved on to Puri Jagannadh’s camp.

Now, during the promotional events of Akasaveedhullo, Poojitha is being questioned about her alleged wedding to the music director. But ‘our own Telugu’ actress, who had acted in films like Rangasthalam, Happy Wedding, and Odela Railway Station, is one made of steely grit.

She does not shy away from answering the question and has made it clear that she hardly knew DSP when the rumor first came out. She says she actually met DSP about six months after the initial rumor died down and had a brief interaction with him on stage during Rangasthalam’s promotions.

Well, so for all those looking for some masala, this is indeed a dead end. Poojitha also made it clear that DSP might not even be aware of such rumors as he is a top-notch music director.
