Liger turned out to be an unforgettable disaster for Puri Jagannadh. Flops are common in the film industry but Liger left a black mark on Puri as a director and as a producer.
There were allegations of non-seriouness and financial misappropriation during the production on the part of Puri after he delivered a horrible product. The buyers have flocked Puri‘s office and we have seen both sides wash the dirty linen in the public.
Exactly then, there was a section blaming Charmi for distracting Puri. They attributed all that went wrong with Liger to the former actress. There were demands that he should stay away from her and concentrate on work to be back in winning ways.
We do not know how much of it is true but Puri did not care about the allegations and he is backing her once again.
Puri Jagan and Charmme have announced their new project, Double iSmart, starring Ram Pothineni. Charmme’s name was clearly highlighted as co-producer on the poster that was released yesterday while announcing the film.
