A few distributors called for a protest against him over the settlement issue. There was an audio clip as well circulating on social media where Puri was giving a stern warning to those distributors.
Not surprisingly and probably after careful thinking, Puri Jagannadh has decided to throw the ball back in the court of distributors who lost heavily due to the film which was hyped as a pan-Indian film.
He has filed a complaint in Jubilee Hills Poice Station against Warangal Sreenu and G Shobhan Babu who are the primary distributors of the film and has warned stern action against them for instigating other sub-distributors and trying to mobilize them to stage a dharna in front of his office.
Puri claims that the distributors are trying to push the onus on him when it is Warangal Sreenu and G Sobhan Babu who are answerable to sub-distributors.
He has also complained that these buyers are threatening to cause physical harm to him and his family in Hyderabad that includes his mother-in-law, wife, and daughter.
This letter very much indicates that Puri is trying to distance himself from the responsibility of paying anything to Liger buyers. It has to be seen if that means all buyers or only the buyers who planned the protest.
Looks like this issue is going to take many more ugly turns in the coming days.
Allu Arjun is very particular when it comes to the technical aspects of his films…
