Puri’s dream to go to Bollywood again

Filmmaker Puri Jagannadh, who is busy wrapping up upcoming Telugu actioner “Temper”, says he has plans to direct a Hindi film this year besides two other Telugu projects he has in the offing. He said that his next film is titled ‘Jyothi Lakshmi’ with Charmi, which he intends to start soon. He’ll also be doing another film with Varun Tej. Puri also plans to direct a Hindi film soon during the course of the year but he’s not sure with whom

Asked if “Jyothi Lakshmi” is the biopic of eponymous yesteryear Telugu actress, Puri denied it, adding: “It’s too early to comment about it”. He said he doesn’t want to talk about it until ‘Temper’ releases. “Temper”, which is slated for Valentine’s Day week release, features Junior NTR and Kajal Aggarwal in the lead roles.

It’s the story of a corrupt and cunning cop who transform into someone very honest. Temper is the most suitable title, going by the attitude of the character essayed by NTR. Having collaborated with NTR after a decade, Puri said he “missed” working with him. In Bollywood, Puri has earlier directed “Bbudah Hoga Tera Baap”.
