Shraddha Kapoor is the hottest name in the industry right now, especially after the massive success of Stree 2, which became the highest-grossing Hindi film ever.
Now, fresh buzz suggests she might be featured in a special dance number in Pushpa 2: The Rule. While several actresses were in the running for this enticing spot, the makers ultimately chose Shraddha.
Though she’s undeniably beautiful and a good dancer, many believe she lacks the sultry edge needed for an item song. There’s a feeling that she might not fit the raunchy vibe expected from the item song in Pushpa 2.
With the film’s hype skyrocketing, the pressure is on—if the song doesn’t hit the mark, it could be a major letdown. So the casting of the actress for the much-hyped item song is extremely crucial.
But here’s the thing: before the Oo Antava item number from the first Pushpa, Samantha was also seen as too sweet and innocent for a raunchy dance song. However, she shocked everyone by totally owning that song with her ultra-hot moves and expressions and turning it into a chart-topping hit.
So, who’s to say Shraddha can’t do the same? She might just flip the script and show us her raunchy and sultry side we never expected.
Also, Shraddha would add her bit of star power in the Hindi belts which would definitely be a plus for the film.
