‘Pushpa’ Rules Out Aha Big Time?

Allu Arjun‘s upcoming film ‘Pushpa’ with director Sukumar is a pan-Indian movie and the makers of the movie have been strategically promoting every aspect of it so that it would reach pan-Indian audiences. Currently, the discussion on the digital rights of the movie has gained prominence.

At the recent first-year anniversary event of Aha, the OTT players claimed that they are going to surprise everyone with a few big films this year. So, will ‘Pushpa’ be one of them? Speculations are rife that ‘Pushpa’ is going for Aha.

However ‘Pushpa‘ being a pan-Indian movie will have multiple language releases and that rules out Aha right there. Aha is a regional OTT player streaming only the Telugu versions of movies and shows. Therefore, ‘Pushpa’ going to Aha seems not a possibility.

Having said that, there is another possibility that Aha might retain only the Telugu version’s rights and sell the other language rights to other OTT (global) players. But, why would they be interested without the Telugu version that’s the strongest market for Allu Arjun?
