Devi Sri Prasad and Sukumar have a long history with item numbers. It started with their first film Arya which had the classic ‘Aa Ante Amalapuram’. Since then, they have had many more memorable and popular ones in their kitty. It is also why there is an extraordinary expectation on this particular single.
‘Oo Antava, Oo Oo Antava’ is an instant winner. More than the music, which is fine, the lyrics by Chandrabose stand out. They are as raunchy as they come. He has hit it out of the park with the words that should instantly connect with the masses.
Devi Sri Prasad has taken a different route with the music, and it is here that some mixed reactions may emerge. But, be assured, it should work after a few listens. One would be tapping the foot to the rhythm.
The glimpses of Samantha seen from the lyrical video suggest a video that matches the trippy feel of the item number. The colour palette and execution add a lot of oomph and sizzle (as rightly promoted) factors to the song.
Check out the lyrical video below. Pushpa – The Rise starring Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna will hit the big screens on December 17th. The Censor formalities are over, and the advance bookings will be open all over soon.
