Pushpa Started As A Web Series

Icon Star Allu Arjun’s Pushpa is announced in two parts. The first part, Pushpa – The Rise is in theaters right now and the second part, Pushpa – The Rule is announced in the first part. While the makers claim the second part will go on floors in March, the first part’s commercial success will decide that many believe.

Despite the movie being made in two parts, the first film is still three hours long. Meanwhile, Director Sukumar has revealed something very interesting about the film. “The idea of Pushpa came up when I was penning a web series script. While traveling with it, I thought it should be made as a film on a big scale,” Sukumar revealed.

“Pushpa first part is all about introducing the characters and revealing their motto. The real story is in Pushpa – The Rule. Every character which we start in the first part will have closure. Maybe one or two characters will be introduced in the second part,” the director said.
