Raashi Khanna Finds Way to Ease Into Bollywood Audiences

Raashi Khanna, one of the South actresses who are very popular among the South audiences is going to make her digital debut with a web series to be helmed by Raj and DK of ‘Family Man’ fame; the show that turned out to be a super hit among Indian web series.

Bollywood star hero Shahid Kapoor is also going to be part of the web series that’s yet to be announced officially. In the present scenario, a web series idea is quite a good one for the ‘Tholi Prema’ heroine.

It’s hard to find a space in Bollywood as it happened for actresses like Taapsee who went from Tollywood and created a space for themselves in Bollywood. Several others tried the same, for example, Rakul Preet Singh, but not very impressive.

So, at the moment, a web series is a good idea for Raashi Khanna which gives her a chance, both the digital debut and also easy entrance into Bollywood and reaching the B’Town audiences. No big ambitions but the right step right now.

Having a star as big as Shahid Kapoor is also another plus for her besides working with successful web series’ directors DK and Raj.
