Rahul Gandhi to directly monitor GHMC elections

Congress high command is buoyed by the minor success in the recent MLC elections and is taking the upcoming GHMC elections serious. The party had appointed observers for all the 150 seats.

This is one of its kind step for a civic poll. It is said that Rahul Gandhi’s office will direct monitor the elections and guide the party in the crucial elections. The election is the toughest election for the ruling party since GHMC has settlers in majority.

And so all the opposition parties have taken this election seriously so as to take stage a comeback in the state’s political front. The notification for the GHMC elections will be out any time in the next few days.
