‘Mithai‘ featuring new age comic of Telugu Film Industry Rahul Ramakrishna and Priyadarshi opened up to very poor reviews and if not for the two talented actors and their bromance on the big screen, it was said to be impossible to sit through the entire film. That doesn’t mean, the duo had given a reason to watch the movie.

Rahul Ramakrishna clearly understood the outcome of this outing and sincerely accepted that the movie was beyond repair and that’s why he had disassociated himself from the movie’s promotions. In a series of tweets, Rahil Ramakrishna quite sincerely stated the two learning experiences he had with this film and trust himself for his abilities to judge a person’s skill set. Nevertheless, the comic still has great regard for the director’s ideas and wild imagination.

Even the reviews said that the idea was good but the execution was terrible. He was happy that the audiences were honest with him and we as movie-lovers are happy Besides his honest confession, Rahul Ramakrishna also talked about comedy being regarded as a menial thing and how he feels a great honour for being called a comedian. One thing is clear, Rahul Ramakrishna has disassociated himself from the ‘Mithai’.
