We Became Friends over Biryani and Beer

The two talented and coming of age comedians aka Rahul Ramakrishna and Priyadarshi are checking their luck to carry themselves to the next level instead of playing the typecast comedian movies. Both of theirs’ stars started shining with Vijay Deverakonda’s films, Priyadarshi with ‘Pelli Choopulu’ and Rahul Ramakrishna with ‘Arjun Reddy’.

Did you know that they had known each other since 2009 when Priyadarshi was doing his post-graduation in Communication and Journalism? Though Rahul didn’t belong to his group, he used to hang out with the post-graduation group and that’s how they gradually became friends over biryani and beer. They also have another common point. Both of them did short films before coming into Cinema. Now, they are awaiting the release of ‘Mithai’ featuring both in the lead roles. However, it’s a comedy movie which boasts of roller coaster hilarious ride for the audiences.

Besides this, the comedians are experimenting with different roles. By the way, Priyadarshi is playing the lead role in ‘Mallesham’, the biopic on Padmashri Award winner Chintakindi Mallesham. On the other hand, Rahul Ramakrishna has also been managing writing dialogues alongside acting. Looks like, the duo wants to take away the typecast comedian role limiting to be a hero’s friend. Kudos!
