Why Rajamouli didn’t give chance to Kota in Baahubali?

Kota Venkateshwar Rao is one of the big names in Tollywood whose name is always taken with great respect. Any role, he behaves his character. Why was he not given chance by Rajamouli in the biggest motion picture, ‘Baahubali, The Beginning’?

Keeravani, who claims himself to be the biggest fan of Kota, says that Rajamouli didn’t yet learn to teach acting to a seasoned actor like Kota (thaathaku daggulu nerpadam vaadiki inkaa chetha gaaledu). True. Of course, Kota played character roles in Rajamouli’s previous films like ‘Chatrapathi’.

Kota is unique and his performances are the most cherished ones. Call it variety, from villain roles to soft roles like a doting father, he is the best. If Kota is roped in, there is no one can think of replacement for him. He is that perfect when comes to behaving his character.
