Rajamouli is my God, not Godfather

Prabhakar aka Bhaireddy of ‘Maryada Ramanna’ or Kalakeya of ‘Baahubali’ says Rajamouli is my god, not my godfather. Expressing such devotion to a film maker who gave him first chance, got him trained and encouraged a non actor to transform into a good artist comes as no surprise as it’s a natural emotion.

However big ‘Baahubali’ might be, even small characters like Kalakeya, the war lord of a tribe seemed to be very huge because of the vision of the director. Prabhakar remembers how he used read his Kilikili language dialogues before going to bed, got up very early at 4 a.m. and practice them with the help of his wife.

Practice and beforehand preparation made him confident on sets to be ever ready when the master is all set go for action. The frightening but terrific appearance of Kalakeya seemed to have instilled a superstition which Prabhakar didn’t believe in. He thinks, his get up was so awesome that, when people saw him, they were like speechless.

But, the same evening, Prabhakar developed fever and hence thinks that the fever is the effect of ‘Dhisti’ (evil eye) on his monstrous appearance as Kalakeya. Every artist and technician associated with ‘Baahubali’ has such fond remembrances of working for the biggest motion picture of India.
