Rajamouli Over-Estimating Himself?

The makers of SS Rajamouli‘s RRR have finally given a closure regarding the Ticket Rates controversy. As the rumors are flying thick about the producers approaching the court over the untenable rates, DVV Movies let out an official clarification.

“It is true that the slashing of ticket prices will affect our film immensely. But we at #RRRMovie have no intention of going to court. We are trying to approach the honorable Andhra Pradesh CM garu and explain our situation for an amicable solution,” the statement read.

It looks like the makers do not want to be in the bad books of the government but then, multiple rounds of talks by others have failed previously. Meanwhile, there are reports that the RRR team will be inviting Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy for the film’s Pre-release event in Vishakapatnam.

The industry biggies, despite their efforts, could not even get an appointment with Jagan Mohan Reddy. Rajamouli should be as creative as his films to pull off something to impress the Chief Minister. But then, there are people who think the RRR team is being over-confident here.

“It is always Ego more than anything else for Jagan Reddy. With Bheemla Nayak’s release also round the corner, only courts can save RRR,” some fans opine.
