Rajamouli Started Career Assisting Father?

SS Rajamouli’s one of the most sought directors in Indian cinema right now. He has 100% strike rate in his career so far and with Baahubali, he became famous across the country. Entire country is waiting for the release of his next, RRR starring NTR and Ram Charan.

When we ask someone when Rajamouli started his career, many will say he became a director with Student No.1. Some will remind how he worked in Television before making it big in films. The ace director also worked in the direction department of a few films.

A screenshot of Ardhangi movie (1996) surfaced on social media in which SS Rajamouli is credited as the associate director of the film. We do not know if it is Rajamouli’s first film but definitely one of his first films. Rajamouli’s father, Vijayendra Prasad is the director for the film. Vijayendra Prasad directed his second films ten years later in 2006.

Till date, he directed just four films while his son became one of India’s most popular directors. Vijayendra Prasad has written for all the films of Rajamouli.
