Rajamouli’s AD to be Manchu Family Savior?

In the recent past, Manchu family actors are literally struggling to score a decent movie. It has been long since they had delivered a hit. Will ‘W/o Ram’ give that most needed hit for the Manchu family? It’s directed by a newbie, Vijay Yelakanti.

This guy worked as an assistant director to Rajamouli for ‘Eega’ and also was credited as a script assistant for the movie. After working for ‘Baahubali, The Beginning’, Vijay Yelakanti did a lot of commercials and eventually he met Manchu Lakshmi who narrated a story for him. However, the young guy narrated his own story, a crime thriller and made the Manchu actress accept it.

By the way, Lakshmi Manchu is one of the producers of the movie besides Vivek. If a new director gets a chance to work with Manchu family actors, he will be lucky because Manchu actors will look after many aspects of filmmaking. Vijay says that he has learnt a lot when working with Rajamouli. With that experience, can he deliver a hit for Manchu Lakshmi? Let’s see.
