Dharman Monster Story Theory Goes Viral!
Following the massive blockbuster success of Jailer 2, Rajinikanth is currently starring as the lead in the film Dharman directed by Ashwath Marimuthu. According to reports, almost 70% of the filming has already been completed and the makers are planning to release the film in Summer 2027.
In this scenario, a strong theory is now going viral on social media that Dharman’s plotline is inspired by the popular anime story Monster.
According to this theory, the plotline of Dharman follows a rich man who suffers a medical emergency mid-flight and is saved by a doctor on board, played by Rajinikanth. Ironically, this same man later turns out to be the doctor’s biggest villain.
Pointing to the recently released special promo announcing actor Ram Pothineni’s arrival in Dharman, which opens with a flight arrival announcement, netizens claim the theory holds weight and suspect that the story is really inspired by Monster.
In response to this viral theory, many feel the plotline looks solid and if Ashwath Marimuthu shapes the screenplay well, Dharman could emerge as a massive blockbuster.
Meanwhile, some feel the story is quite the opposite of Ashwath Marimuthu’s previous films. They claim he is primarily skilled at delivering commercial entertainers, whereas the storyline of Dharman leans heavily into the suspense thriller genre.
Consequently, they suggest Ashwath Marimuthu is taking a huge risk with this experimental attempt and urge him to handle the screenplay of Dharman with extra care.
However, all these remain social media speculations and still no official sources have confirmed the plotline of Dharman. Therefore, it remains to be seen how Dharman takes shape and whether it emerges as a blockbuster success, helping Rajinikanth maintain his winning streak upon its release.
