Superstar’s Wife Clarifies on Contempt of Court

On the behalf of Latha Rajinikanth, her counsel released a press note clarifying about the rumours that have been spreading about Mrs Rajinikanth alleging that she was subjected to contempt of court. The press release gave a detailed account of what had happened.

According to the press note, she didn’t resort to contempt of court but got sought the permission of the High Court not to vacate the premises of their educational institution due to COVID and also the students are in the middle of their academic year.

The High Court granted permission to stay till April 2021 but not to take admissions in the present premises of the school. The press note further clarified that they had been paying their rent for the premises without any dues.
