The star had an image of God in Tamil Nadu and is adored as a terrific actor. But once he announced his party competing in the next elections, the star’s history including his birthplace came up which have never come into consideration for the Tamil people to lift him up high as an actor.

AIADMK and DMK leaders, who had to find something out to show negative on Rajini and to divert most of his fans votes to themselves, started to showcase the origin of Rajini aka Shivaji Rao Gaekwad. They proclaim that they cannot accept Rajini who is a Marathi by birth be ruling them, as it makes them the slaves as only the man of the Tamil soil can lead them as a leader.
