Rajini’s Daughter Meets Naidu

Aishwaryaa Dhanush recently met with the Union Minister Venkaiah Naidu to discuss the inclusion of a new category – stunt choreography – in the National awards. Aishwaryaa, who also happens to be Rajinikanth’s daughter, submitted a letter in request to the Union Minister to add the above mentioned category in the National Awards.

Aishwaryaa, aside from her film-making skills, is also a great dancer. We hear she will be making a documentary above the several legendary stuntmen to have worked in the Tamil cinema. Her documentary titled ‘Cinema Veeran’ will have a voice over from none other than the veteran superstar Rajinikanth himself. The music score will be done by AR Rahman and husband Dhanush’s Wunderbar Productions will produce the short film.

This documentary, by Aishwaryaa, is a tribute to the stuntmen who have dedicated their lives to the Tamil Cinema and will honour 50 Years of Tamil cinema’s Stunt Union.
