Horror comedy does the trick for Ohmkar!

Post the phenomenal success of Kanchana and Prema Katha Chithram there have been deluge of horror comedy films being made on low and medium budgets. Many of these films have been success and it looks like the success streak of this genre has rubbed off on popular anchor turned director Ohmkar also.

Ohmkar’s second film as director Raju Gari Gadi has opened well in the smaller centers of the two Telugu states and thanks to its entertainment quotient the film is doing well ever since its release. What more the film is now looking at turning into profitable venture if the same speed is maintained over the next few days as well.

Ohmkar’s first film Genius too was appreciated for its basic story and message but the heavy handed treatment meant that the run was curtailed. This time he has taken a successful formula and by making it at controlled budget, Ohmkar seems to have got the desired result.
