Coming to her upcoming film ‘Current Theega’, it is revealed that ‘Current Theega’ is the remake of a Tamil superhit film titled ‘Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam’. Our Telugu girl Sri Divya of ‘Bus Stop’ fame was the heroine of the film. Sri Divya became famous as ‘Oodhaa Kalar Rippan’ because of the song picturised on her calling her ‘Oodha Colour Ribbon’. With that one song and that one film, Sri Divya stole Tamil thambis’ hearts and got many offers in Tamil. Since Rakul is playing the role Sri Divya had done, if her characterisation is retained the same, she in all probability is going to hog the lime light.
